J.T. Yost

I founded Birdcage Bottom Books, an indie-comics press and distributor, and ran it from 2008 until 2023. My comics are primarily non-fiction explorations of difficult topics (cult indoctrination, slaughterhouses, addiction, etc.) or autobiographical.

My work is always hand drawn and painted, often with digital coloring. I’m currently obsessed with risograph printing, so I’ve been slowly re-releasing older work as riso editions.
